Dear Mr. & Mrs. Dent
I would like to take the opportunity to thank both of you for the in house training we had with your company.
As a manager I was very pleased with the content you covered and felt that it was very germane. I appreciate how you researched my industry and how knowledgeable you were of the housing industry so that examples you used were relevant to my employees.
My staff is still talking about your presentation and how entertained they were with both of you. They have told me they would like to have you back in the near future.
Again thanks for a job well done.
Sincerely,

To Whom It May Concern:
Insurance has been one of my major headaches since assuming the role of Superintendent. It is complicated, expensive and difficult to manage.
To assist the board and me, we retained the services of Fred C. Dent, Jr. and Financial and Management Services.
Mr. Dent helped us create and develop in cooperation with my department heads a request for proposal that brought two responses from two agencies and their companies. We selected the coverage we felt were needed at this time and are pleased that we did save a little money and at the same time, on our property insurance, got more protection.
Mr. Dent was thorough, thoughtful and earned the respect of my employees, the Board and the agents that he worked with.
I can recommend Fred without reservation. He is responsive and easy to deal with. And, his fees are most reasonable.
Sincerely,

To Whom It May Concern:
As you know, competition in the banking and financial services marketplace continues to escalate as banks and. other institutions expand their products offered and increase their branch locations.
In order for our bank to effectively compete, and we have, we retained Elizabeth and Fred Dent to assist us in increasing personal productivity and enhance the effectiveness of our sales and service team.
Elizabeth and Fred conducted five seminars with our key personnel, a total of 20 hours on-site in our boardroom. What a good decision! And, their cost of services was very reasonable.
Our team not only enjoyed the presentations but also learned a great deal about themselves, customers, our products and creative methods of presentation of our products that they put into practice after each program.
If you are struggling with productivity issues, you may want to talk to Fred. Their fees are reasonable; their material is up- to- date and can include such items as Internet and e-mail marketing techniques as well as other financial services you may offer.
You can reach Fred at Financial and Management Services, 1055 Laurel Street, Baton Rouge, La. 70802. His number is 225-344-2374 and his e-mail address is fred@freddent.com
If you would like to talk to me about this wise and results oriented investment in people and product, I would be more then happy to share my views and insights.
If you liked Fred when he was the Banking Commissioner, you will like him even more when he assists you in meeting your goals. And, Elizabeth is dynamite!
Sincerely,

Dear Fred,
We certainly appreciate you taking the time out of your busy schedule to conduct our Focus Group. I thought the program went quite well and your expertise in conducting focus groups was quite evident. The comments were spontaneous and quite helpful in most cases and the members of the group were well tuned into what you were doing. All in all it was a terrific program and a worthwhile exercise.
Thanks again and I look forward to working with you in the future. Please don't hesitate to call me if I can be of assistance and we will see you at the next program. Please give my regards to Elizabeth.

Dear Mrs. Dent:
We are pleased that you chose to continue to work with the students elected to participate in the EY Business Scholars Program at Southern University. Your dedication, diligence, and efforts to improve the students' overall presentation and communication skills are greatly appreciated. The goals and objectives of the EY Business Scholars Program for this semester were accomplished as a result of your dedication and the willingness of the students of the School of Business at Southern.
At the beginning of the semester, the personality profile was a tremendous step in gaining the students' respect and trust, and it also enhanced the students ability to receive the focused training. Becoming knowledgeable of their own personalities, as well their peers, was a huge step in the students understanding their current limitations, overcoming those limitations, and understanding how they work and with whom they work well. The group sessions you held have obviously given the students more confidence in their abilities, and have increased their awareness in the benefits of effective communication and presentation skills. We believe that your involvement and the energy you lend to the program assisted the students in becoming better communicators in the classroom, on campus, and in the community.
The improvement in the students' presentation skills was apparent during the final presentations of the semester, in comparison to the initial meeting. The student's ability to articulate their ideas, and to use visual aids displayed their confidence and improvement.
We are looking forward to the upcoming semester as we continue the focus on the overall development of the EY Business Scholars.
Sincerely,
Allen A. Boston

Dear Fred:
I certainly should have written you a long time before this to thank you for being with us at the convention last month. As you win see, we have finally gotten around to tabulating the evaluations from the programs you worked with during the convention and copies are attached.
First, I call your attention to the afternoon program on May 4 when you conducted the workshop for us called "The Bugs of 1999; Getting the Bugs Before Y2K." As you will note, you got 9.8 out a possible 10 in the category called "Instructor's Ability To Hold Your Attention." I think that must be some kind of record as no one gets rated that high! You will also see that everyone attending said they got more from the workshop than they had hoped. Everyone said you should be invited back to speak at another convention. All I can say about an evaluation like this is "Terrific!
I then call your attention to the evaluation for the panel session and you'll note you rated 9.3 there with only one person saying he or she did not get as much from the session as was hoped,. The questions relative to inviting the panelists back again, you'll see your name was mentioned over and over. Under the comments section, you'll see such things as:
Best panel discussion that I can remember!

Dear Fred,
When thinking of first-class consulting in the State of Louisiana and in the South, those persons "in the know" think of Financial and Management Services. You, Elizabeth, and your experienced and established consultants have indeed built an enviable reputation over the past fourteen years.
When we requested your assistance with our "Regulator Update" Seminar, we knew that we could expect excellent results. The seminar proper as well as the outcomes far exceeded our expectations.
As do so many other businesses, agencies, and individuals with whom your firm has worked, we know first hand why your services are in such demand by banks, marketing groups, insurance companies, educational institutions, and individuals. I am grateful for the opportunity to benefit from your expertise- - our experience, and your insight.
We look forward to continuing our association with you, Elizabeth, and other members of your consulting staff.
Sincerely,

Dear Elizabeth and Fred,
For the last four years, Financial and Management Services has conducted our annual management retreat in which we focus on managing current issues and developing a plan of action for the forthcoming year.
During these retreats, you have conducted interesting events and assisted our staff as we confront those issues, which are both substantive and transitional.
When we reviewed our history of these retreats, I noted that my staff had achieved quality results and matured in their individual and staff responsibilities. Because of your annual and continual efforts, we are a better, more effective team.
During this time of change, programs such as our annual retreat have enabled us to serve the people of Louisiana in a more efficient and effective manner. We all appreciate your diligence and creativity.
With fondest personal regards, I am
Sincerely yours,

Dear Elizabeth and Fred,
In Reply Refer To: DEC - 2 1994
This letter of appreciation was delayed by my surgery shortly after your visit here to Martinsburg. Please be reassured that your program had absolutely nothing to do with precipitating its necessity!
While there are always opportunities to improve organization management, we chose to concentrate on interpersonal relationships, based upon existing issues and the advent of several proposed/executed grievances. While the issues involved three or four significant relationships, there were several others less critical as well.
With very little information provided up-front, in order not to prejudice your thoughts, you both quickly determined all points of staff sensitivity during the first day's interviews. You then provided the tools to the staff for dealing with these issues. Your teamwork provided a synergy that not only captured the staff's attention (including several recalcitrants), but also was the subject of conversation a month later. Staff interactions have been significantly improved since you gently reminded them that they had a responsibility to understand and take responsibility for their own actions.
The courteous tenacity with which you pursued senior management briefings after the conference was extraordinary. I cannot conceive of a better team, each of you with a different yet complementary approach. The highest compliment to be rendered is that many staff remarked to me that the conference far exceeded their expectations.
Without any doubt, the Dent team is the best I've experienced in over thirty years. I hope we will be able to get you back here sometime early in the New Year for additional sustainment training. We will all look forward to working with you once again.
Sincerely,

To Whom it may concern:
For a number of years, as the Vice-President for Human Resources
for Freeport-McMoran, I was responsible for assembling resources and assets to provide educational and training services.
Since 1986, on a number of occasions, we have utilized the services and talents of Financial and Management services.
In their capacity of consultants, Fred and Elizabeth Dent have developed and
presented a number of programs for management and supervisory personnel.
These programs have particularly focused on determining the strengths
and weaknesses of each individual as they relate to fellow employees
and then assisting each employee to develop his or her own profile
to provide the maximum IMPAC both personally and in our corporate setting.
The program content, and their attention to the needs of the participants
and the company, was so effective in Louisiana that it lead us to send
Mrs. Dent to work with our organizations in Arkansas and Florida.
Critiques by the participants consistently gave Mr. and Mrs. Dent
high marks for professionalism and ability to communicate effectively
with our staff and employees.
I can recommend them without reservations.
Sincerely,
