The Center will present five new honorees at their banquet on Saturday, March 6, 1999. The banquet will be held at Nicholls State University at noon. There will be a coffee reception at 10:30 a.m.

Keynote Speaker is Congresswoman Mary Bono of California. Special guest will be Congressman Billy Tauzin of Louisiana.

Ernst and Young, LLP, CPAs

For the second year in a row, Financial and Management Services Educational Consultant Elizabeth Dent has engaged with Ernst and Young, LLP, worldwide CPAs and Consultants. The engagement is to assist Accounting Students at Southern University A & M College in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in enhancing their communication skills.

Dr. Will Elliott, CPA, Head of the Accounting Department at Southern, inaugurated the program two years ago to assist his students in increasing their presentation and oral communication skills.

Frederick Scott, CPA of the Dallas office of Ernst and Young coordinated the project for the firm.
