 "First American Bank of Vacherie, Louisiana recently purchased a property-casualty insurance agency to create additional customer services and product opportunities for their client base. The Bank hosted the Institute of Insurance Marketing, a solely owned subsidiary of Financial and Management Services to provide pre-licensing training for select volunteers. Over 30 bank employees volunteered for the 32 hour course required by the Commissioner of Insurance of the State of Louisiana prior to taking the property-casualty examination. Students from Algiers Homestead in New Orleans and The Community Bank of Raceland, Louisiana also were in attendance." Fred C.
